Priamine – a NEW green C36 building block for use in Polyamide adhesives!
New bio-based chemistry
Croda’s Priamine dimer diamine provides the polyamide hotmelt adhesives market with a new biobased C36 building block offering increased formulation freedom. The introduction of the benefits of dimer fatty acid technology on the amine side, allows for a wider choice of di-acids to adjust properties such as an increased melting point. Higher melting points allow for higher temperature exposure of the end product without compromising on performance.
Priamine can also be used as diamine in combination with dimer fatty acids to further increase flexibility, moisture resistance and affinity for plastics and improves adhesion to other low polarity substrates such as polypropylene.

High end applications
Priamine dimer diamine enables new and exciting high-end applications for example in electronics, footwear, furniture, packaging, textile, electronic encapsulation and connectors.
